Touch Screen Technology in the Modern Workplace
We live in times where technology has integrated with heavy industry and happily sits alongside manual process in factories, foundries, workshops and warehouses.
Touch screen interfaces have revolutionised operations to minimise error, cut human intervention and maximise control. They simplify process, reduced down-time and accelerate production.
In addition to touch-screen machinery and equipment, there is genuine need to operate devices such as smart phones and tablets. These provide a rapid exchange of information and are generally accepted as a normal part of our every-day working lives.
It would be totally counterproductive to introduce inhibiting factors that inadvertently sabotage our technological advantage!
Those inhibiting factors include something as simple as hand protection, the humble work safety glove. Obviously, an essential item of PPE that must be provided by law in most industrial environments. Yet annoying and disruptive if it has to be removed every time you operate tech.
