Our Manufacturing
What makes us different from our competitors is our ability to manufacturer our own products. We manufacture our prescription safety glasses in our ISO9001 glazing lab in the UK and have manufacturing facilities in Mexico, China and Taiwan for our safety gloves and non-prescription safety eyewear. We also support our partners with global distribution hubs located in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australasia.

Our brand-new range of safety gloves includes mechanical gloves, cut resistant, thermal and cold protection. The range includes 21 families of gloves, grouped together by the shell type. Each family comes with various coatings and coverage options. This means we will have a glove to suit almost every working environment.
Not only have we developed our own core of quality safety gloves, we have worked closely with our global partners including DSM, DuPont™ and Lycra® to bring you Dyneema®, Kevlar® and COOLMAX® fibre gloves.
Prescription Safety Glasses.
MCR Safety is a market leader for the manufacture of prescription safety glasses. Not only do we supply safety glasses, we innovate and provide safety eyewear ordering solutions.
Our specialised prescription safety eyewear department will help you find the perfect safety eyewear programme which suites you and your organisation.
Having streamlined our safety frame options to 20 core frames, it’s important that we can offer your customers eye protection that they want to wear rather than must wear.
All of our prescription safety frames and lenses are CE certifed to EN166:2002 and in addition, British Standard Kitemarked for your peace of mind. All manufactured in our own ISO9001 optical lab.
We have complete control over the manufacture and supply of our Safety and DSE Eyewear, if any issues that may arise can be resolved smoothly and quickly by our customer service support staff.
